Near-Complete Transition Into Adulthood. Plus, A Request

For the first time in my life I purchased a piece of furniture somewhere other than Ikea. Where is this magical store, you ask, the place where people go to become adults? It's everywhere.


Also, my first project in the new kitchen: biscuit-infused bourbon. Only problem is I don't know if it's possible. Teach me.

I don't know anything about infusing with a biscuit flavor (I wonder if that's only possible with beer? It's such a delicate flavor; something about the wheat and hops and whatevers?), but everything I know about infusing alcohol I learned from this: http://ask.metafilter.com/87374/How-to-make-vodka-baconflavored

Ignore the vodka comments -- bourbon is a much better idea.

why don't you make bourbon butter to put on said biscuits rather than infusing them? or stick to dunking biscuits in bourbon
